Our Story & Founder
What first started in 2017 as a resource-sharing hub for VCE teachers officially evolved into Targeted Teaching Australia (TTA) in November 2024. We exist to solve an explicit crisis: teacher burnout and administrative overload.
Spearheaded by Director Alfonso Zampogna, TTA is built by teachers, for teachers. While actively teaching in a Melbourne independent school, Alfonso ensures our solutions remain grounded in classroom reality, not corporate theory. Our approach is deliberately different: it is built directly on the urgent concerns teachers are raising today, providing the vital support needed to enhance the profession as we enter the next industrial revolution and the classroom of the 2030s.
Alfonso’s passion for "giving back" to the profession is defined by tangible output. This commitment began in 2017 when he developed a landmark database for VCE Business Management teachers to foster connection and resource-sharing. Since then, he has edited, presented, and crafted educational materials used in schools across Victoria, always emphasising that every student’s journey to success is a unique narrative that requires validation and encouragement.
Under Alfonso’s leadership, TTA has become a new-generation active ecosystem that gives back to educators. Driven by our team of expert innovators, we deliver secure, ethical, and curriculum-aligned tools like Share Space, Target Stream, and Target AI. This ethical, educator-first approach not only restores strained school budgets but actively reclaims 5 to 10 hours of administrative time per teacher, every week.
Our commitment is explicit: empower educators, uphold unwavering standards, and ensure every student is treated as an innovator to be inspired, not a KPI to be met.
